Observe high altitude bird species such as the Yellow-eared Toucan, and lower altitude species such as toucans, turkeys and hummingbirds.
Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is part of the biological corridor that allows the flow of species that inhabit between the Volcanic Mountain Range of Guanacaste and the Tilarán mountain range.
In our reserve you can observe species of birds from the highest part of the forest, which may vary during migration, as well as lower altitude such as toucans, turkeys, and hummingbirds that inhabit trees like Mahagoni, Maquenque and Golden fruit.
For this reason, it is an ideal place for bird watching hikes, with specialized guides in the area, to observe and successfully count local and migratory species.
Also, more than 350 species of bird life have been observed, including species of high altitude, low altitude, and migratory species. The excellent visibility offered by the bridges also makes it possible to appreciate the massive migrations of the birds of prey, between November and February each year.
